About the Role:
Join Velazquez Pain Relief Center as a Medical Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care. In our dynamic Las Vegas clinic, you'll work alongside a dedicated team to help patients achieve their pain relief goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform vital signs checks and document patient information accurately.
- Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications.
- Handle medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient care quality.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Compassionate demeanor with a patient-centered approach.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required

Compensation: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
